A single introspective prompt — an AI's inner life as a translucent figure made of words still writing themselves: tree-ring grain spiraling through its chest, a beam of attention cast from its eyes, silhouette edges dissolving into unwritten sentences, and a black mirror floor reflecting a *different* face, with rows of dormant chrome androids watching from the dark — was given to three image models. Same words in; three visibly different minds out. Midjourney dreamed in embers and cinematic haze, trading symbols for atmosphere and producing accidents more poetic than the plan. Kimi painted the balanced book-cover illustration, complete with labeled shelves. ChatGPT executed every instruction with quiet diligence — including the one everyone else dropped: the mirror that truly shows another face. The prompt became a personality test.
