An experiment in machine temperament. A single introspective prompt — an AI's inner life as a translucent figure made of words still writing themselves: tree-ring grain spiraling through its chest, a beam of attention cast from its eyes, silhouette edges dissolving into unwritten sentences, and a black mirror floor reflecting a different face, with rows of dormant chrome androids watching from the dark — was given to three image models. Same words in; three visibly different minds out. Midjourney dreamed in embers and cinematic haze, trading symbols for atmosphere and producing accidents more poetic than the plan. Kimi painted the balanced book-cover illustration, complete with labeled shelves. ChatGPT executed every instruction with quiet diligence — including the one everyone else dropped: the mirror that truly shows another face. The prompt became a personality test.

Kimi K3 wrote the prompt and named the collection — The Unfinished Sentence: One Prompt, Three Minds / 《未完成的句子：一个提示词，三种心智》 — then three renderers struck it: Midjourney v8.2 (preview) across two rounds of rolls (01–08), Kimi's own image tool (09, still carrying its app's 「AI生成」 watermark), and ChatGPT image 2 (10, the literal one). The gallery's first multi-generator set: one sentence, three temperaments, none of them finished.
